El Servicio de Ciudadanía e Inmigración de Estados Unidos (USCIS) anunció hoy un nuevo memorando de política que reitera que, de acuerdo con la legislación de inmigración establecida desde hace mucho tiempo y las decisiones judiciales, los extranjeros que soliciten ajuste de estatus deben hacerlo mediante el trámite consular a través del Departamento de Estado desde fuera del país.
